Last shoot of the season

Today was the last shoot of the season and it turned out to be such a beautiful warm day, the best day we've had with the weather.
I worked really hard and was pretty exhausted by the time we finished.
Mum said we can start again in October but that AGES away :-(. She did say something about me having some proper gundog training in the meantime, personally I think its mum that needs the training, I'm pretty sure I know what I'm supposed to do, flush the birds and then pick them up when they are shot and take them back to Mum to carry!

Clean car.................?

Mum thought it would be a good idea to clean the inside of the car out the other day as it was pretty muddy and stinky from all our adventures.

I think she may be regretting this decision judging by the state of our darling Winston below.



It's not his fault, he's a Labrador and that's what they do, the muddier the puddle the better and above all he was enjoying himself!!!!

Our week

Just some random shots from our week.

Sometimes we go to our local park, loads of open green space to run around in.

Sometimes we snuggle together in my crate, its a bit of a squeeze but we dont mind.

And finally, I may be a big rufty tufty gundog but nothing beats snuggling up with Dad, but why does Mum insist on disturbing us to take photos....... Mother's honestly!!!

New Forest Viz Whiz - Burley

Had another cracking Viz Whiz today organised by Auntie Juliet for Rio's 1st birthday.
Approx 50 vizsla plus a few honorary ones too.
We had so much fun, here's a smilebox of our antics.

I'm in love!

Wow, I'm head over heels in love with Willow. We meet sometimes on our lunchtime walks and everytime I see her I run to her and give her big kisses. She is just the most beautiful girl.

It's my birthday!

It's my birthday today, I'm 3 years old. Wow getting really grown up now, although mum and dad say I'm still like a puppy, all silly ears and legs

I had a cool squeaky burger toy, here's me jumping for joy when I saw it (Winston did get a toy too, we can't leave him out now can we?)


And then Connor played Happy Birthday to me on his guitar, I love listening to him play


Don't look Mum I've chewed the squeaker out, I know it won't squeak anymore, I just can't help myself, if it squeaks I have to kill it. Oh well fun whilst it lasted though. Do you think she's noticed, I'm pulling my best innocent face?

Happy New Year everyone, hope it's a good one!

I have just one comment though, why do humans insist on letting off really really loud fireworks at midnight? I hate them as you can see from the picture below I snuggled onto Dad's lap until they finished.
